Doctor Who Unreleased Scene from Flesh and Stone and The Vampires of Ven...

This video is great! Haha! It is set in between "Flesh and Stone" and "Vampires in Venice" (obviously) and actually explains a lot--like why Amy doesn't ask about previous companions, or why the Doctor never mentions Rose, Martha, or Donna anymore (reason: he's utterly embarrassed). It's really great, and makes me once again totally love Eleven and Amy! There was even a Donna reference in there :) Enjoy!

David Tennant & Catherine Tate- Comic Relief

Okay...this is hilarious. Seriously, this is SO funny :). I'm not sure if it's as funny if you don't watch Doctor Who, but omg is this thing hilarious :) Enjoy!

"How could a fellow Gallifreyin stoop so low?"!!!!!

These are the teasers for series six of Doctor Who!!! The big one is: "How could a fellow Gallifreyin stoop so low?" What can this mean?! Discuss!
Also, who is Susannah? Does this have to do with his granddaughter, Susan??? Continue discussing!!!

P.S. No matter how great the Doctor says Gallifrey was, the more I watch DW, the worse it seems...

The Time that has passed...

Wow. When I look back at my older posts, I can see just how much I've changed. I've gone through so many phases. They were all awesome, but they all faded :(. I hope my Doctor Who phase doesn't fade for a long time. But it's not just me who's changed. It's this blog, too. And I don't just mean the backgrounds and the title--everything about it has changed: the writing style, the frequency of the posts, the viewers (thank you international viewers!!!), and, most importantly, the wonderful followers. I remember when I was thrilled to have three followers. Now I have nine, including myself. And hopefully, this will only grow. I've had 722 pageviews in the history of this blog. That is so amazing. The majority of the viewers are from the US, but there are tons of international viewers too, from all over the world, and that it truly amazing. It is such a good feeling to know that my writing, however lame it is in this blog, is being read all over the world. Also, it's great to exchange ideas with other bloggers, and spread my obsession of Doctor Who. I want to take this moment to thank every one of you, everyone out there, reading this blog right now. It really means a lot to me that you're taking the time to do this, even if only because you have nothing else to do--there is ALWAYS something else to do, but you are choosing to read this...thank you. You are all truly wonderful.

Peace,Love, and Olympus,
Annabeth713

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

this has got to be a short one so you concentrate on the previous post, but I just have a short revision, which throws off my entire theory :(. The Doctor SAW RIVER SONG'S DEATH. Is THAT what was nagging at him at the end, not losing Rose? Hmmm...comment, DW fans, and tell me what you think!

Doctor Who Christmas Special!!!!

Ah! That was brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! And it looks like the Doctor is FINALLY ready to tell Amy about Rose and Martha and Donna. Well, almost. Did you see that bit, at the end, were mean-turned-nice dude (what was his name again) says something like "one last day to be with the one you love. How would you spend it?" And then the Doctor goes all inward and quiet, and Amy says "Are you alright?" and he says "Yeah, yeah." Okay, he's either thinking of Rose, Martha, or River. I'll narrow it down to Rose or River. And something tells me it's Rose, cuz right about now, knowing he'll soon meet River for the first time, he might be feeling, oh I don't know...guilty, right?! Cuz I mean she's in a parallel universe with a human him, and yet the REAL him never even mentions her, and is now gonna meet his future wife. Yeah. Not to mention, When he first met River, for the first time for HIM, he was still with Donna, and that's got to bring back some sad memories. Not to mention, as we saw in the trailer for season 6...RETURN OF THE OOD!!!!!!!! Let's see, he met them with Rose, then he met them with Donna, where he accidentally helped them predict her becoming The Doctor-Donna and ultimately forgetting everything of time-travel and the Doctor. Oh yes, and after all that happened, they predict his death. Lovely. I'm sure he'll be SO glad to see them again--and better yet! They're possessed again! Ah, perfect. But it is for me, cuz you know that's got to bring back memories for the Doctor, which is good! Right? Yes! Anyone out there agreeing with me??? Glad to see the Ood again?

An odd Ood. Heehee.

Well, it was really epic and--the Doctor's coming to America! Yay! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the TARDIS ;)

For those of you who saw it--what did ya think? Good, right??? Excellent! Brilliant!

Oooh, and did you notice--now, I'm sure this is complete coincedence and means absolutely nothing, but then again, nothing is a coincedence in DW--guy-who's-name-I-forget said "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." FLASHBACK!!! As a few of you know, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," was the TENTH Doctor's phrase. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???? I think this proves my earlier stated theory that the Doctor's old life is beginning to come back to him. Oh, yes!!! (haha, that was another of the tenth Doctor's phrases).

Peace, Love, and Olympus,
Annabeth713 :)

P.S. But wait...seeing 11 and Amy and Rory in a brand new episode kind of makes me like this bunch more again...we'll just have to wait and see...

A DW Viewer's Guide for A DW Non-Viewer

Okay I found the title of the episode I was talking about, it's called "Midnight." And also, somehow, I've forgotten to thank Melissa for following me!!!! Melissa, thank you! Have you worked on your Silver Award project yet ;) I haven't! :)

I am sososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososo
excited--starting at midnight tonight, an all-day Doctor Who marathon will be on BBC America!!!!!! It will end with the Doctor Who 2010 Christmas special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can bet I'll be in front of the TV from the time the marathon starts to when I have to go to my aunt's house for Christmas :). And I'll stay up as long as it takes to see the Christmas special, as we're recording it and we probably won't get home till about 10. I don't know where the marathon is starting, or if it's only going to be the previous Christmas Special, but...I would recommend anyone reading this blog right now who is interested in starting to watch Doctor Who should watch some of this, cuz it will give at least a little background information. Look out for these episodes:
1) School Reunion
2) the Girl in the Fireplace
3) Army of Ghosts/Doosmsday
4) The Runaway Bride
5) The Shakespeare Code
6) Partners in Crime
7) The Doctor's Daughter
8) Midnight
11) Turn Left
12) The Stolen Earth/Journey's End
13) End of Time part 1 & 2
14) The Eleventh Hour
15) The Beast Below
16) Victory of the Daleks
17) Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone
18) The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang
These are pretty much all of my favorites--and believe me, this is only a small portion.
There aqre some I wouldn't recomend seeing without seeing others: for example, here are some that go together:
Doomsday/The Runaway Bride/Partners in Crime
Midnight/Turn Left (these two do not seem connected; in fact, they are inverse, Midnight being "companion-lite" and Turn Left being "Doctor-lite." Also, there is a few seconds in Midnight that connect to Turn Left, which you will understand once you see them)
End of Time part 1&2/The Eleventh Hour

Okay, that's my little guide to Doctor Who!!!

Peace, Love, and Olympus,
Annabeth713
Hello! Thanks to my newest follower! It's good to finally have a follower who actually watches Doctor Who!

Speaking of that, have you seen the one...oh, what was it called...it was in season four, let me think...I forget what it's called but it's the one where The Doctor and Donna are on vacation and that thing gets on board the shuttle bus and gets into the Doctor's mind...you know which one that is? I was just watching it, it's one of my favorites. Wasn't it good? I was really exited to see "Turn Left," but it was actually really hard to watch. Basically Donna saved everything by being Donna and turning left when her mom wanted her to go right. Wow. The other day I had a little marathon on Netflix and watched every single episode from season 4. When I saw the second episode in the season, I nearly jumped. Donna tapped on the back of a girl with blond hair and a purple jacket and said "a lady's gonna walk by, she's tall and has blonde hair, her name is Sylvia. Tell her that bin there, it will make sense to her." At first, you only see the blond girl's back, but I knew who she was even before she turned around. Rose, which of course was impossible. I already knew that she escaped the parallel universe, but I was so shocked. Then, in "The Poison Sky," you see her again, just for a second on the TARDIS's screen. And finally, on that one I was talking about in the beginning, you see Rose again, on the screen of the shuttle bus, going "Doctor! Doctor!" but his back is turned and he doesn't see her, which is depressing. Interesting, huh? I mean, even when you already know how it all turns out, it's interesting.

Anyways, it's time to go to my Grandma's house for Christmas eve. Oh--and I forgot to mention, happy solstice! Well, happy belated solstice, it was three days ago...

Amelia Pond

K, remembered what I wanted to say 'bout Amy...
So, most companions are like "I want to spend the rest of my life traveling around in the TARDIS" and then get all weepy when something happens and they can't. In "The Hungry Earth," Amy sees her future self, not with the Doctor or the TARDIS, and is sort of like "oh, whatever." she's not disappointed that she won't be time-traveling ten years in the future. Why is this??? WHY?

Random thought time :)

Okay...random thought: How come the eleventh doctor doesn't like bananas as much as the ninth and tenth? I think it would have been funny if in The Eleventh Hour, when he's having Amelia cook all the foods for him to see what he likes in his new body, he tries a banana and doesn't like them anymore, so is all upset.
Also, I had a thought about Amy...okay I don't remember right now, but I'll check back when I remember.

Companions...?

Hello to any Doctor Who fans out there reading this blog.

Usually I just ramble on about how awesome DW is. Any of my followers can easily understand what I'm saying, even if they don't watch the series. Even if they don't really understand what I'm talking about, they get my point.

But right now, I have a bit more of a serious point to make about Doctor Who--one that only those who watch the series will really get. If there is anyone, anywhere in the world who is reading this who watches DW, I implore you to please, please, please comment on this post. Give me your opinion on this matter--I like looking at different sides. The commenting is open to everyone, even though it won't show up at first. I have to read all comments before I can post them on the blog. But your comment, who ever you are, where ever you are, is important to me.

It's about the companions. Namely, Rose and Amy, my two favorites--although I'll touch on some of the other companions as well.

Today I watched Army of Ghosts and Doomsday--for those of you who have seen these episodes, you know what about them makes me so sad. Those are Rose's final episodes, before she is stranded in a parallel universe, never to see the Doctor again. Sure, I know she meets him again later, but it still makes me sad to see her go.

But later today I started thinking...what about Amy? What's so special about her. I mean, sure, she's got a bloody time crack in her room, but...does he really CARE about her. A few weeks ago, I would have replied in an instant: "of course he does!" I might have even said "he likes her best." But no, no, that doesn't seem true. He likes Rose a lot more, that's for sure. With Rose, for example, there are so many moments between the two of them. With Amy--not so much. I mean, sure, they're is that part in The Time of Angels where he refuses to leave her.
The Doctor: Amy Pond, you are magnificent, and I'm sorry.
Amy: It's okay, I understand. You've got to leave me.
The Doctor: Oh no, I'm not leaving you, never! I'm sorry about this! [bites her hand]
[Amy yelps and grabs her hand]
The Doctor: There, see? Not stone, now run!
Amy: You bit me!
The Doctor: Yeah, and you're alive.
Amy: Oh, I've got a mark, look at my hand!
The Doctor: And you're alive! Did I mention?
Amy: Blimey, your teeth, have you got space teeth?!
The Doctor: Yeah, alive, all I'm saying!
And that was sweet and all, but it seems like he liked seven-year-old Amelia MUCH more then twenty-one year old Amy. He even confesses "You asked me why you...well, the truth was, it was you're house...such a big house, to big for a little girl and her aunt" or something like that. So really, he was just doing that to fulfill a promise to a little girl. Amy is just so...sparky. He's not used to that, I don't think. I mean, sure, no matter how many times he tells his companions not to run off, they do, but with Amy, she really is a handful for him. And why hasn't she been given a TARDIS key? Rose, Martha, Donna, Jack...all them got TARDIS keys, why not Amy? Why doesn't he trust her? She's definitely earned it. But, the biggest thing that upsets me about Amy--the end of Flesh and Stone? I mean, most companions fall in love with the Doctor...that's to be expected. But Amy?
The Doctor: Yea—No, no, no! I'm 907, and look at me! I don't get older, I just change; you get older, I don't. And this can't ever work.
Amy Pond: Aw, you are sweet, Doctor, but I really wasn't suggesting anything quite so... long term. [kisses him against the TARDIS]
See what I mean??? What's up with her? I mean, she's a perfectly nice girl...Well, the Doctor does tell her FIANCE, Rory, in the next episode: "We were both frightened...we thought we were going to die, but we didn't..." He DID save her, I guess, which might be a bit of an explanation. Anyways, I think he loves all of his companions in different ways, some more than others. Obviously, Rose is the perfect example. He was completely in love with her. With Donna, it was more of a sister/brother relationship, I think. As he said in The End of Time, she's his best friend (though if you've noticed, he doesn't even mention her to Amy or Rory, nor does he take advantage of his timeline rewinding to see her again). With Amy, I think she's a bit like an little sister--sweet when she's little, but a bit annoying when she's older. Which is why he was so surprised when she came at him like that at the end of Flesh and Stone. Yeah, now that I think about it, it is sort of an older brother/little sister relationship; he loves her and wants to protect her, but can find her annoying at times, and won't give her his car keys. Yeah, let's go with that.

Okay, one last thing: What about Martha? He says at the end of Smith and Jones that he's not replacing her with Rose, but OF COURSE HE IS!!! IT IS SO BLOODY OBVIOUS!!! Which annoys the heck out of me. How can he try to replace Rose? Needless to say, I don't exactly like Martha.

Well, it's late, so I best be getting to sleep (actually, I'm going downstairs to watch Doctor Who, season five, episode three: The Victory of the Daleks) I sort of calmed myself down by typing my thoughts and coming to a logical conclusion (eh, I hate logic, but sometimes it can be useful). Still, if you want to comment, I urge you too. What are you're opinions on this post?

Doctor Who (for the millionth time)

I haven't talked about Doctor Who in a while, so I figured I'd have a spaz session (although I think my views have gone down since I started talking about Doctor Who).
DW has got to be the awesomest thing ever. I mean, a time-traveling 907 year old time-lord called The Doctor and one or two funny, brave, cool companions, flying through time and space in a blue phone box? WHAT COULD BE BETTER??? Yes, it's better than Star Wars, yes, it's better than Percy Jackson, and YES it is better than Harry Potter...it kills me to say those things, but I know they're true. :(

I am sososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososo (you know you can tell me to stop and any time) sosososososososososososososososo...so...SO excited for the DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a remake of A Christmas Carol :) Hang on...I'll post the trailer on the next post :) It's gonna be soooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On thanksgiving, when we were all saying what we were thankful for, you KNOW I said DW :)

Harry Potter rocked, and now I'm the computor lab due to a gas leak in the "gym" which is really just a huge warehouse thing.

I saw Harry Potter the day it came out but for some reason I have forgotten to tell you guys until now!!! How weird is that??? So basically it was awesome, closely followed the book (although at the point where Hermione read from The Tale of the Three Brothers I found myself going "That word isn't right" but of course that's just me), and the special effects were awesome. Anyways, I'm at school right now so I have to go. Oh wait, Coach just said we have ten minutes left. We're in the computor lab for P.E. because they're is a gas leak. Yay for the gas leak! We had to do this little project on our favorite famous athlete (I had to google famous athletes cuz i'm pretty oblivious in that area of knowledge) and then we were done, so I went on to the BBC website and looked up random Doctor Who stuff, but there was no new stuff, so I went here! Okay, well, even though we still have seven minutes left I really don't have anything left to write...sigh...everyone is looking at the randomest videos and pictures and I'm just sitting here writing my blog LOL. Most of the kids were like "what's a blog" lol OBLIVIOUS!!! They think they're so cool nd that I'm a geek but I think theyre wrong blogging is the coolest thing ever other then writing! Plus I am a geek so they have to learn to deal with it!!! Oh, I just remembered I have homework for Girl Scouts (anyone else have a Girl Scout leader who gives homework?) so I'd better get on that because we still have four minutes left and it's not like I'll have time to do it at home. Ahhhh three minutes left!

New Background (again!)

Like the new background? I think it's pretty cool. It fits my newest obsession, of course. If I ever get out of my Doctor Who phase, I'll change it. But I don't think that will happen anytime soon. You know what? That will be my new thing. If my phase changes, I'll put a new background up to display that phase! Yeah, that will work! That way if you don't have a lot of time you can just glance at my background to see what I'm into now, instead of reading my lengthy posts about how awesome my new obsession or phase is. Cool!

Doctor Who - Unreleased Music - Track 1 - Next Stop Everything

I. Love. This. Song. It's my favorite song ever! It beats Across the Stars and Fireworks and Flight of the Order of the Phoenix...it's AWESOME! It's so dramatic, it just fills me up with excitement until it feels like I'm flying...know what I mean? As you've probably guessed (from the picture) this is pretty much the theme song for Season 5 of Doctor Who. It appears many times in all of the episodes...starting in the episode called "the Eleventh Hour" where the Doctor meets Amy.

While we're on the subject of Doctor Who (as always), Yesterday there was a huge Doctor Who marathon to celebrate the DVD release of Season 5 in America...that means Season 6 will be here soon. YAY!!!!!!! Anyways, there was only one episode that I hadn't seen, "The Beast Below." Oh yeah, and "The End of Time" part one and two, but those are from Season 4 so they don't count. Anyways I was really surprised because the Doctor was shouting at Amy...and it doesn't work like that, The Doctor NEVER shouts at Amy. Then I realized that though it was four episodes for us and fourteen years of Amy, it had only been one day for The Doctor and this was how his day was spent:

(for dramatic affect read this next part while playing the video :))

He gets a prophecy that he's going to die; the world is about to end; The Master comes back (that's bad); he runs into Donna's grandfather (Donna was the companion before Amy); They're captured by The Master; every human on the planet is turned into a replica of The Master except for Donna's Grandfather (he was in a safety chamber) and Donna herself (she's part Time-Lord); Donna begins to remember who the Doctor is and that she's part Time-Lord (if she remembers her mind will blow up); The Master goes after Donna; Everyone escapes; a few of the Time-Lords are brought back but so is the planet of Gallifrey and Gallifrey will crush the earth; The Doctor has to kill all the Time-Lords (again) making him the Last of the Time-Lords (again); Donna forgets everything (again); The Doctor starts to regenerate; he doesn't want to regenerate, he wants to stay the way he is; the TARDIS crashes; he meets a seven-year-old girl named Amelia Pond; he eats fish-custard (which Matt Smith said he had to actually eat and which he said was delicious...ew); the TARDIS threatens to leave without him, so he takes it for a five-minute hop into the future; he accedently goes twelve years into the future; a twenty-one year old woman hits him with a stick, then hand-cuffs him to a chair; there is a monster (typical, right?); he realizes that the twenty-one year old girl who hit him with a stick in indeed Amelia Pond (now Amy) and she tells him that she kept biting people because they told her The Doctor wasn't real; his sonic brakes; the TARDIS won't let him in; he has twenty minutes to save the planet from being incinerated without a sonic or a TARDIS; he saves the world (and along the way he picks up a bowtie, which he says is "cool"); he takes Amy with him in the TARDIS; they go WAAAAAY into the future; Amy accidently votes to hurt a star-whale (but she can't remember doing it); he has to chose between saving the last star-whale or saving all the humans in England; he thinks the only option is to turn the star-whale into a vegitable...oh, and he can totally relate to the star-whale because as Amy says, they're both "really old, really kind, and the last of their kind"

So...yeah...kind of a stressful day for the Doctor. No wonder he gets a bit mad at Amy, though like I said, it's not supposed to work that way.

Hope you enjoyed the song, and hope you didn't think my post was too tedious to read :)

Old Doctor Who episodes

Right now I'm watching episode 13 of season 4 of Doctor Who. It's actually pretty good...though it's the tenth Doctor, who is NOT as cool as the eleventh Doctor (the elventh Doctor is so cool he can wear a bow-tie and it actually looks good :)) Anyways, I don't mind the tenth Doctor as much as I used to...despite the fact that he's protrayed by David Tennant, who also played Barty Crouch Jr in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, he's pretty cool...not that he could EVER come close to the eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith). Wait...WEIRD THOUGHT...if David Tennant was in HP, doesn't that connect Doctor Who and Harry Potter, just as Rick Riordan standing next to the TARDIS connects Doctor Who and Percy Jackson??? OMG...it's actually happening. The worlds that I love are connecting in subtle ways...but will those ways grow bigger??? I think so--I HOPE so. Because if that's true...well, it's too hard to explain, too weird to be true. I mean, these are probably just coincedinces. What else could they be, truthfully? But if I'm right...well, if I'm right, than my life, and the life of every other obsessive, imaginitive writer like me, will change for good. My theory is...incomplete. I'M not even sure what exactly I'm talking about. HOWEVER...I just know that if this is REALLY happening, which it's probably not, but if it is...the worlds are about to change :)

I know this can'tr be real. But it's fun to dream :)

Define Normal

I just read a great book "Define Normal." The book itself was awesome, but it's really the message in the TITLE that gets to me. Here's my conclusion:

There is no such thing as normal. If there were a such things, we'd all be clones. But guess what? We're not. We're all different. We're all "weird." And for those people who paint themselves another color to fit in, those who are completely immersed in the trivial nonsense of pop-culture, well...they're not "normal" at all, they've simply altered their own uniqueness to fit a cookie-cutter mold that they think has been set for them by the standers of the population. In a way, these are the least "normal" people of all (though they consider themselves the most "normal")because they have taken the gifts and uniqueness God gave them and have completely changed them, not in a way to better themselves, but to make themselves, to use their term "cooler." They think that the entire world is based off of a popularity hierarchy. Well, it's not. Ah well, these are the people who aren't going to succeed in the REAL world, where you're knowledge of Justin Beiber doesn't count for anything.

:P

Today I'm feeling...yuckish. I had to leave school early because I was sick. :P

I watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid today. It was pretty good, and mainly stuck to the books. I liked that one Newspaper girl, though she was not in the book. She reflected myself and my ideas in many ways. I feel that movie and show producers have so many wonderful opportunities to reflect these morals of believing in oneself and doing well in school and putting oneself above pop culture, and yet they waste these opportunities, making their main characters care far to much about popularity.

Oh, by the way, if you haven't yet noticed, I have changed my blog name! I was getting board of the dull title of "Annabeth713's blog." RandomlyObsessed fits SO much better...as you know!

Anyways, gtg, I've got TONS of hw.

Peace, Love, and TARDISes (ha, you were expecting Olympus, right?),

Me at a glance

I think this image is basically me at a glance. I made it on Picasa. it's pretty cool, huh?
Posted by Picasa

Matt Smith interviews Karen Gillan and Karen Gillan interviews Matt Smith!

OMG!!! Hilarious! Obviously these two are really good friends. They are a bit like their characters, and DEFINETLY have the same type of relationship that The Doctor and Amy have (only minus the time travel and the fact that The Doctor never ages). Anyways, these are really funny videos!

Riordan + TARDIS!!!!!

AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't this the coolest thing ever??? Rick Riordan and the TARDIS in one place??? OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I freaked out when I saw this! Turns out Rick Riordan knows what Doctor Who is--and likes it! It's so incredible...mainly because right now I'm in a Doctor Who phase! This is what is says on Rick Riordan's blog about the TARDIS:

"Today I was in London for media interviews. I started the day at the BBC Centre. The TARDIS had appeared outside, so naturally I had to get my picture in front of it. I knocked, but the Doctor wasn't answering." -Rick Riordan

I am so glad I saw this!!! It's awesome!!!!

Anyways, still in the Doctor Who phase and not leaving it anytime soon. Look forward to more Doctor Who posts!!!!!

Solo + Doctor Who!!!

I GOT A SOLO!!!!!!!
YAAAAAAAYYYYYY!

That's right! I got a solo song in the play "Dear Edwina!!!" I'm Periwinkle. That's the part I reallyreallyreallyreally wanted!!! Plus I get to yell! This brings back memories of 3rd grade...Zach knows what I'm talking about. BTW, THANK YOU Zach, for following me! You're the only one who knows my true identity...so keep it a secret!!!

Well, that's all for now!

May The Force Be With You Always!

OMG wait...I forgot to mention...I'm in a Doctor Who phase! You know what that means! That's all I'll be talking about for the next few posts! So, here it goes:

Doctor who is the awesomest show ever

it's even awesomer than The Clone Wars

I wish I had a TARDIS

I bet I'm the only one here who knows what a TARDIS is, or what it stands for. But because I'm nice, I'll share with you guys. The TARDIS is The Doctor's floaty time-machine-space-ship/telephone booth thing. It stands for Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space! Yes, you guessed it...that picture of a telephone booth above is actually a picture of the TARIDS!!! Isn't it cool?

Okay, I'm done now...I'll check back in later!!!

A little slice of Random cake :)

So, as you can see, I changed the blog back to English. The Hebrew was starting to bug me. I am mad at my theater teacher. My mom made a dentist appointment for me in July, before I even started school or even KNEW about the after-school theater program. Today we were FINALLY working on my ONLY scene...which by the way I am needed for because it is the scene where I tragically break my ankle. Anyways, my mom came to pick me up while I was ON THE FLOOR, about to get to the rest of the scene where I'm lifted into a little toy car and driven away (it's a long story, but we didn't have a stretcher...:P) Guess what...my teacher got mad at ME!!! She's always saying that I'm "so dedicated" and that "I'm reliable and dependable" and that "I take theater as a discipline, not just an 'easy-class.'" But now she's mad at me cuz I had to get my braces tightened. Yes, because I'd really rather be at the dentist wincing every time the lady pressed to hard and doomed to suffer for three days than be at my practice, singing and dancing with my peeps and joking around with Adi and Jill. She acts like it's MY fault! AURGGGG! But whatev. I'm over it. IM OVER IT!!!!!

Okay, so I'm kinda not over it, but I can deal.

My brother is obsessed with Avatar: The Last Airbender. Even I have to admit, it's pretty funny.

If I haven't mentioned, I'm going as Jedi for Halloween. Except my school doesn't allow "weapons" as part of a costume, and apparently blue plastic lightsabers count as "weapons." :P. Can you see me attacking someone with a lightsaber??? NO! so why...WHY...does that count as a weapon. :(

I really hate it when people misread me. It makes me feel embarrassed and ashamed...even when it's not my fault. My teachers do this a lot to me. I say something clever, and they turn it into something stupid...by mistake, of course, but it still saddens me. The feeling is indescribable. It's like being sad, guilty, embarassed, angry, and ashamed, all at once, and magnified a thousand times. I just don't know what I'll do if one more person misreads me.

Dr. Who is AWESOME!!!!! I can't wait...Saturday there will be a new episode, I think!!!!!!!! There better be cuz they totally left me hanging in the last episode!!!! Anyways, in short...Dr. Who rocks.

Good books are hard to come by. I don't mean the type of good book that you'd recommend to your friend after taking about a month or so to read it. I mean the type that keeps you from sleeping at night, nags at your mind, fills you with deep curiosity and longing, until you must rise from your bed, light your lamp, and read further--and not stop until you have completed the adventure that the book brings. I mean the type of book where you would not stop reading it even if your hair was on fire.

Well, I suppose that's it for tonight. G'night, friends.

All Hallows Eve

So, pretty soon it will be Halloween!!!!! I'm going to be a Jedi...I love my costume! It is so cool! It is a kid costume but it fits me and it is really cute. My brother is a "Clone Trooper Deluxe" costume. The costume was like sixty bucks...totally mad, right? But it's cute for such a little dude. That's his nickname...he has this bone delay problem so he's nine but he's the size of a six year old, and his friends all call him "Little Dude." His "girlfriend" started it. But I'm getting side-tracked. The point is: HALLOWEEN IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!! I love Halloween. Most people say that they love Halloween for two reasons: a) Free candy, and b) you get to pretend you're someone you're not. I love the free candy part, and I like pretending I'm someone I'm not every day of the year, but...on Halloween it's socially accepted! So I'm very, very excited...it's only about a week away. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hebrew

Cool!!! Some of the words on my blog are now in Hebrew! For all I know this post will turn up in Hebrew! If I haven't said this before, I am learning Hebrew, so this is a really cool little thing to put on my blog. Got to go now. See ya later.

Ahsoka/Anakin-My Life Would Suck Without You

Isn't this video great? I love Ahsoka and Anakin, as you know. I don't see them as bf.gf, but I really think Anakin loves Ahsoka as a little sister, and Ahsoka loves Anakin as a big brother. I love this video: it really reflects their relationship in a nutshell. Hope you enjoy it! It's a great vid!

New Background!!!

As you can see, I've applied a new background to my blog. I saw it and I thought "wow that's cool." I tried a few others out before selecting this background image: there was this really cool one of the galaxy, but it was to hard to read the words. Then I found this one: it rocks because it has Greek architecture! Yay! Tell me what you think of the new background.

Okay, well, I'm done for today. That was a short post...but oh well. See ya later, guys.

LOST HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!! LOST HERO CAME OUT ON TUESDAY, I FINISHED IN IN LIKE THREE HOURS! IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME! I LOVED IT SO MUCH I EVEN WROTE A BOOK REVIEW!!! HERE IT IS!!!:

Jason knew something was wrong when he woke up on a bus holding hands with a girl he didn't even know, not able to remember anything. Throw in a couple of angry storm spirits, a crazy hooved PE Coach, a buff son of the Rainbow Goddess, an angry blond girl who looked ready to stab his heart with that bronze dagger of hers, and a vision of an trapped goddess, and Jason realized that it just wasn't his day. Meanwhile, Piper is hiding the fact that some weirdo giant wants her to betray her boyfriend and best friend, not to mention an entire camp that's apparently filled with her half-brothers and sisters, cousins, and even uncles and aunts. But what choice does she have--Jason doesn't even remember her, she never knew her mom's side of the family, and she HAD to save her dad. Getting claimed by her long lost mother didn't help much...especially when she figured out who was her half-sister. Leo, on the other hand, has a secret of his own. So he was the son of the God of the Forge...okay, why not? But the fact that only one hero ever few millennia has control over fire is not good news for Leo. Because when there is a hero who is a Master of Fire, disasters tend to strike. Leo knows the consequences of such disasters too well...and it will be hard for him to use fire again after what happened to his mom.

Jason, Piper, and Leo must go on a quest to save a goddess who doesn't have a fondness for heroes. If they don't, the entire human race would probably get squished like a little bug by some Earth Goddess. Looks like Mother Nature--Gaea--isn't the lovely Snow White Leo thought she was. And worst yet, she and her children--not the Titans or the Cyclopes, but the Giants--are waking. Ghosts are returning, and worst of all, the Heroes of Olympus are now looking at a threat even worse than the Titans. It will take more than just the Greeks to defeat the army this time...looks like Camp Half-Blood needs to get some help from their Roman friends...that's right Percy fans...it's not just the Greeks anymore.

HOPE YOU GUYS LOVED THE BOOK AS MUCH AS I DID! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!!!!! PIPER IS AWESOME...EVEN FOR AN APHRODITE GIRL!!!!!!!

speaking of Aphrodite, and on a totally different note, I'm doing the play "Dear Edwina." For those of you who are familiar with it, I am playing the part of Lars, who we are calling Larsley. Because this name is...sad...I'm asking my theater teacher to change the name to something like Larissa. This is a bit of a disapointment, but with a little luck and a lot of practice, I will score a solo. This brings me back the Aphrodite. One of the characters is named Aphrodite (one of the soloists) and I really want to play her. Her song is very short, though, so hopefully, because I am in so little of the play, I will get to solo parts: my other choice is Abigail. I am crossing my fingers!!!

Thanks for listening! Thanks to my THREE FOLLOWER!!!

May the Force be With You Always.

Lost Hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I realize my last post sounded really super lame. If you were one of the few people actually reading it, and were like "wow, this post was soooooo lame," I don't blam you. I worked out the after-school thing, and all is good.

But there are more pressing matters to discuss. Much more pressing matters. The Lost Hero comes out in less then a month! Oh my gods, I can't wait! Anyone can read the first two chapters now, by going to the new Heroes of Olympus website at http://disney.go.com/disneybooks/heroes-of-olympus/ and I suggest doing just that! I can't wait!!!!! I am trying to figure out who the new demigods are--and by who, I mean who their olympian parent might be. It's all very confusing. If anyone has a guess, fill me in!

I love the character Piper. She seems very smart, witty, and tough. Plus, has the best comebacks! "My dad's Cherokee, not Hualapai. 'Course, you'd need a few brain cells to know any different, Isobel." Ha! You've got to love it.

But seriously, I am freaking out, wondering just what is going to happen. I can't get to excited, because I did that with the season three premier of The Clone Wars--and I couldn't sleep for a week, I was so excited. Plus, the premier really disapointed me--Ahsoka wasn't even in it! But that's not the point here. The point is that I NEED to figure out who Jason, Piper, and Leo are. I mean, Leo is probably a son of Hephesteus. But who is Piper, why can't Jason remember anything--and why does he know all the Roman terms, not the Greek ones--why is there the name of some Roman dude on the back of Jason's coin (yes I looked up the name Ivlivis. All I could find was a picture of a Roman coin. Oh,and this one GREAT website that would have probably told me everything I wanted to know...if I could read Greek). Oh, and where is Percy??? Why was Annabeth told that she needed to find Jason? Is Annabeth going to kill Rachel (I'm guessing it was Rachel who told her to look for Jason) when she gets back to camp? I guess we'll just have to wait to find out!

Okay, so, I pick choir as my elective, right? But there is no choir, so they put me in theater. Which I'm okay with, because I like acting. So I get really excited about theater, but there's no teacher. We--the drama kids--wait for our teacher. Today she comes, and tell us that we cannot be in the drama production unless we do the after school drama club. I figure that will be okay with my parents, and I go home and tell my mom. She says she has to think about it and talk to my dad about it, which is parent-speak for "No!" So right now I am very depressed. I really really really want to be in the production. I want it to be Wicked. A year ago, I was OBSESSED with Wicked, just as much as I'm obsessed with Star Wars or Percy Jackson now (speaking of Percy Jackson, I got this HUGE PJO the Lightning Thief poster that is litteraly bigger then my little brother). So being in Wicked would be...well, wicked :). But now I might not be able to. I am so sad! :(. I feel depressed every single day because I miss being in band, and I thought that drama could be my new band (or choir, if there was a choir, but there isn't). It makes me feel lost to think I won't have band or choir or theater. I don't know what to do. I think I will visit my old school sometime soon and bring my flute and sit in on a band class. That would make me happy...
Oh well. Sorry to vent on you guys, but where else am I going to?
Peace, Love, and Happiness,
*Annabeth713*

Thank you so much for following me!

On the subject of thank yous, there is someone who I need to thank, but will not name here for privacy reasons. That someone is a good friend of mine who was the first non-family-member to read my book, and she said it was very good. So thanks!!!

Also, I should probably take this moment to thank my family for supporting me with my writing, and my friends for making the first two days of school awesome!

The Choir!!!!

I have totally fallen in love with this show on BBC America, The Choir. It is so touching and amazing. I especially loved the first season. And Gareth Malone (the choirmaster) is so awesome! He is a great teacher and is very patient, and seems to believe in all the students. He's fabulous! I wrote a letter to him but haven't sent it yet. He does such an amazing job with the students. In fact, the other day I saw a concert and they preformed "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," like in the first season of the choir, and I actually prefered it when the kids did it! That is so amazing! I can't believe it, honestly. Keep up the great work, Gareth! You're fans are out there and I am one of them!

Percy, HP, and Star Wars...of course :)

I have been thinking a lot about Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Star Wars recently. I mean, duh...that's all I write about. Here are some things I have been thinking about:
Percy--The Lost Hero is coming out this October. EEEEEK! I am so so so excited! And I have about a million questions. I guess I have to wait till Oct. 12th to find out the answers. Oh, and for those of you who haven't read the first two chapters of The Lost Hero, go to my Percy Jackson fan site: http://homeoftheolympians.weebly.com and go to the "secrets" page. It gives instructions on how to read the first two pages. Oh and the next book in the Kane Chronicals comes out next Spring. I have a lot of questions about that too. Just thinking about it makes me excited! And finally, I'm wondering if they are going to do a movie of The Sea of Monsters.

HP--I've just been thinking a lot about the fact that I'm a Ravenclaw. Don't know why. And also, I've been really super excited about part one of the Deathly Hallows movie coming out Nov 19th! And I've been rereading the books.

Star Wars--The Clone Wars. I've watched twelve episodes now. They are so great. My two favorite characters are Ahsoka and Anakin, of course. I know I said that in all of Star Wars Obi-Wan is above Anakin on my list-of-favorites, but in this series Anakin is my second favorite after Ahsoka. He's really funny in this show. And Ahsoka just rocks, she's awesome, 'nuff said. BTW, I was wondering if anyone knows how old Ashoka is. I read on line that she was eleven or twelve, but I read this book that said she was fourteen. That didn't make sense, because I knew she was to young to be a Padawan, and I thought thirteen was the age most kids became Padawans, according to the Jedi Quest series. But according to this book, fifteen was how old you have to be to become a Padawan. So does anyone out there know how old Ahsoka is?

Anyways, I have finished the first half of my book and one of my three test readers have finished reading the first half and said she really likes it. I'm going to try to get it to a publisher by April. I am not quite sure what I am going to call it, but as soon as I know, I'll post it. Oh, and I don't know if I've said this before, but it's not a trilogy anymore, just one book.

Well, that's about it. Thanks for reading, and thanks so much to Talia, my first follower! And if there is anyone else out there reading this blog, please follow me! Your support means a lot!

Clone Wars

So I've recently started watching the Clone Wars. It's a great show. I've seen only eight episodes, but I LOVE them, seriously. So Ahsoka has been promoted to my first favorite character in the Star Wars universe, then Siri, Obi-Wan, Darra, Anakin...the list goes on and on, actually. I just watched an episode...the one where Ahsoka is put on guard duty in the archives (because a mistake she made on the battlefield) and she catches that changeling who is helping Cad Bane (or Cod Brain, as I think of him)sneak into the Jedi Temple. That episode left me hanging. Erg!!! I hate it when shows do that. Remind me NEVER to do that in a book...it drives me insane.

In other news, I cannot WAIT for several things including The Lost Hero coming out October twelfth, and the HP 7 movie coming out November nineteenth! Both look SO good!!!! For you other HP fans out there who classify people based off of what house they would be in, I'm a Ravenclaw. Any other Ravenclaws out there? I think it's kind of funny how we HP fans take this so seriously and can even make friends based on who would be in there house at Hogwarts. Just the other day I was at a friend's party, and a distant friend of mine, who also LOVES Harry Potter, commented how the yellow-and-black streamers made the living room look like the Hufflepuff common room after they won a Quidditch match. "Not that I'm a Hufflepuff," she added. "I'm a..." "Ravenclaw," we both said at the same time, then laughed and slapped high-fives. Funny, I thought I was the only Ravenclaw at my school (most, less loyal fans, prefer to imagine they are in Gryffindor because that is the house Harry is in). Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get a Ravenclaw book bag big enough to fit about seven binders, tell me, please!!!

Lost Hero is going to be great, I can't wait for that either, although I'm not as physicked about it as there aren't as many frequent commercials...in fact, I'm probably the only one at my school who knows about it (it is a very small school, after all).

And lastly, I apologize for all the spelling mistakes in my previous entries, they have been brought to my attention, but as my spelling is so bad I made the mistakes in the first place, I don't know where they are and have to wait for further help before I can correct them. Oh, well! :) Sorry!

Sorcerer's Apprentice=Awesome!!!!

I saw the Sorcerer's Apprentice at 11:00 am today and it was SOSOSOSOSOSOSO good!!! Totally awesome! I've been saying for a while now that it was the perfect blend of Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Star Wars, and I was 100% right! And for those of you who may disagree with me (about the Star Wars bit) here is a line that may change your mind:
Maxim: You don't need to see my faculty identification
Guard Dude: I don't need to see your faculty identification
I knew at that minute that that was a rip off of Jedi Mind Tricks, but this next line just proved it
Evil Apprentice Dude: Haha "These are not the driods you are looking for."
As any deticated Star Wars fan can tell you, that is a line from Star Wars episode 4, when Obi-Wan uses a Jedi Mind Trick to confuse the stormtroopers.

Anyways, the movie was totally great, and has become my favorite movie of all time. It was awesome and funny and mixed the three series I am obsessed with without making seem like they were *totally* ripping off PJO, HP and SW. My fav character was Balthizar; he reminded me a lot of Obi-Wan in many, many ways. First off, he's got an unobidiant, super powerful apprentice. Second he has a hilarious yet somewhat strange sense of humor. And third...I don't know. He just has that Obi-Wan-ish-ness about him. Strange, I know, but true.

Well, I'm rambling now. So I'll get on to the point. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is the best movie I've ever seen. It mixes ancient magic and a modern setting the way nothing else, not even Percy Jackson, has. If you are debating going to see this movie, SEE IT, because it is so totally AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I guess I found something else to obsess over. Add it to the list. :)

Star Wars-ness

I'm still in my Star Wars phase. I'm boardering on obsessive with this. On a scale from one to ten, one meaning I don't like Star Wars and 10 meaning I'm a rabidly fanatical fan, I'm pretty much a nine.

Anyways, on the subject of Star Wars, today I watched Star Wars episode II. It's by far my favorite of the movies. I love the scene where Anikan and Obi-Wan are chasing Zam Weasle through Coruscant. They say so many funny things in that scene. My favorite:
Obi-Wan: Pull up, Anakin! PULL UP!
Anikan: *laughs*
Obi-Wan: You know I don't like it when you do that.
Anikan: Sorry, Master, I forgot you don't like flying.
Obi-Wan: I don't mind flying; what you're doing is suicide!

And of course, later we learn that Obi-Wan was lying. He HATES flying.

Obi-Wan: *trying to avoid blasterfire* This is why I hate flying!!!

My favorite line in the whole movie, though, has to be when Anakin, Padme, and Obi-Wan are in the arena.

Anakin: I re-transmitted your message exactly as you instructed, Master...And then we decided to go rescue you.
Obi-Wan: *looks up at chains on hands* Good job.

I am aware that by now you probably think I'm a totally geek. Really, I'm not. But when I like something, I REALLY like it.

In more Star Wars news, I read the last Jedi Quest, which rocked...although Anakin started to creep me out, so I demoted him to fifth-favorite-character, after Siri, Darra, Obi-Wan, and Soara. After all, he *SPOILER ALERT* left Darra to die! She was like one of his best friends! And then, when Tru got in trouble, he didn't tell Obi-Wan that he had known about the malfunctioning lightsaber and could have fixed it properly. That really lacks character. Not to mention, he completely cut himself off from everyone except Obi-Wan, and, as we all know, he cuts himself off from Obi-Wan in the second and third movies.

Speaking of the movies (again) What are your favorite characters (in the movies, not the books)? Comment, please! My favorite character in all the movies is Obi-Wan. It used to kind of be a tie between him and Anakin, but no longer. Not only am I mad at Anakin at the moment, but I also decided that Obi-Wan is way cooler.

And finally, to wrap up my post of Star Wars-ness, I read the first book in another Jedi series, "Young Jedi Knights." I didn't like it much. It's about Leia and Han's twin children, Jacen and Jaina. They're training to be Jedi in Luke's new Jedi Academy. Personally, I think that the first Jedi Order was a lot better. This new Jedi Academy is basically a regular school. There are no younglings or Padawans, no Master/Apprentice teams. It's just everyone in a giant lecture hall. And not all of the students are Force-sensitive! I'm pretty sure--no, positive--that you have to be Force-sensitive to be a Jedi. Oh well.

P.S. I can't wait to see the new movie, The Sorcerer's Aprentice! It mixes everything I love--magic, Disney, hot boys (JK), and, yes, Star Wars. I mean seriously. Whenever I see the commercial I say to myself "take out 'sorcerer,' enter 'Jedi' here." It totally fits! Next time you see the commercial, try it!

P.P.S If you have a problem with all the Star Wars referances, just stop reading this blog. In the future there will be more Star Wars referances, as well as signs of my obsessiveness towards Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, too. If you don't have a problem with it, PLEASE subscribe to me! Thanks! :)

The Library and New Cover

So, I got the volunteering spot at the library! Yay! I get to work in the kids section. And yes, after my volunteer orientation, I did actually get another Jedi Quest book, The False Peace. It was really great. I still can't find 3, 4, 7, or 8. The False Peace is number nine. It was great, one of the best Jedi Quests (my personal favs are number 2 and number 5). Anyways, as you dedicated Percy Fans know, Lost Hero is indeed coming out in October, and the cover is up on Rick Riordan's blog, Myth and Mystery! Apparently Mr. Riordan is trying to get Kane Chronicle books out every spring, and Heroes of Olympus every fall. Yes! This means I shall be steadily supplied with good books! The first two chapters of Lost Hero are amazing; I can't wait for the rest!!!

In other news, the other day I got twenty page views of my Home of the Olympians site! Thanks, viewers!

And please, if there is ANYONE out there reading this blog, please follow me!
(and if the viewers of my Home of the Olympians site are reading this, please comment on both my blog on the website and this blog. Thanks for viewing my site!)

Heroes of Olympus coming this October!!!

For those of you who were at the BEA event last month, you got the password to the new Heroes of Olympus site! The first two chapters can be read there. I am personally sooo excited!!! Anyways, I have a new Percy Jackson fan site: homeoftheolympians.weebly.com Also, lately I've been going through a Star Wars phase. My bro loves SW, but I didn't get into the series until I read the Jedi Quest books! I've read books 1, 2, 5, and 6. And, no, I'm not a Star Wars geek. Well, okay, I did write a Star Wars fanfic...but that proves NOTHING! Well, I gotta go (to the library, to get more Star Wars books--kidding, I'm applying to volunteer there. Bye!

Just Popping In! :)

Hi everyone--is there anyone following me? Not yet! Oh, well, maybe soon. Anyways, just an update for you Percy Jackson fans--Rick Riordan's tour schedule is up on his blog. Unlike last year, this year he will not be attending the Festival of Books at UCLA, but is going to many other bookstores too sign books and talk about PJO and his newest series, the Kane Chronicles, which will be released in early May. In further announcements, I finished The Odyssey a few days ago. Usually I'm a fast reader, but it took me a few months to complete this book. The Golden Quest Trilogy is going well, I've already got several chapters and I might share the prologue with you all soon (if I can get enough followers ;))! I guess that's all for now. Thanks!

About me

Hey, everybody, I'm Annabeth713! First, a few things about me: I am the biggest Percy Jackson fan in the entire state. My top Percy Jackson characters are, in this order, Annabeth, Rachel, Nico, Thalia. I am an author; that is, I am writing a book trilogy, though it is not yet published! It is called the Golden Quest Trilogy (the name may change later) and the first book should be finished this time next year. I was inspired by the Percy Jackson series, the Kane Chronicles, and Harry Potter.
